While at the Arlington National Cemetary in Washington DC., we had the privilege of visiting the resting place of our Pastor's father and mother, Lawrence V. Downs Sr. and Mae P. Downs.

Liberty Island was just opened up to the public after the 9/11 attack when we visited in 2002. What a marvelous sight to see.

Sphere Sculpture from World Trade Center

Displayed in Battery Park, in New York, is the Sphere that once stood in front of the World Trade Center. The sphere reflects the horrible damage from the viscious attack on the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001.
